Don’t buy the book, it is obvious from what is shown in the video that “Sure it works, if you need enough electricity to power an absurd little circuit.” Showing the use of the parts in connection with a 120 volt AC 15 amp outlet is absurd and feeds off of the supposed “suppression” of Telsa’s work in DC power transmission.
The power this circuit is delivering is exactly the same as is used to listen to AM/FM/TV/Shortwave radio – right down to the rectifying diodes, but that doesn’t mean it can produce a meaningful amount of power. It might, with an antenna much larger than the device, power one of the small calculators that uses 4 small square solar cells to supply the milliwatts it needs.
