Hojo Motor The one I’m curious about was said to be able to cause earthquakes among other physical manifestations through the creation of sympathetic vibrations, but apparently the secret died with Tesla – if it fact it ever really existed.

There have been a -lot- of stories about ‘Tesla Machines’ which could do various things (anti-gravity, time-travel, etc.). A variant is the one about the Naval vessel that was made to ‘vanish’ and then ‘re-appear’ in the Philadelphia harbor by some variation of a ‘Tesla Machine’.
Tesla never wrote a word about such things and, brilliant ‘tho he was, it’s doubtful if any such machine ever crossed his mind.

Tesla was credited with a lot of whack ideas that the government supposedly appropriated and developed in highly top-secret ways.
