Chosen Answer:

Because reasonable people are more interesting in helping everyone achieve their maximum potential, not just one-way intolerant narcissist’s who happen to insist that if everyone were as selfish as conservatives, then everyone could become rich and achieve their own conservatively-correct version of utopia and be politically/economically “successful”.

Jesus would make Michael Moore look like Hitler.

  5. Obama Is SHARIAH man says:

The Founding Fathers were Christians and not liberals, they created the US Constitiution , liberals want to destroy it. Jesus said people must WORK FOR THEIR FOOD! Liberals want everything free and no work. Jesus is AGAINST ABORTIONS! Babies are Gods GIFT! Liberals are control freaks attacking Christianity! The bible says being GREEDY is a SIN- LIberals keep attacking the rich because of their own GREED!

Jesus would be in the Tea party for freedom! Not a OWS cult member for a COLLECTIVE! Christianity is for Independent Salvation, Muslims are a collective salvation – thats what Obama called for- collective salvation.

Selective use of names makes for a weak argument.

  7. Nicolas says:

Liberals in its original definition. Nowadays liberals are fanatic lefties who think that big government would be the ultimate (especially to protect their government jobs).

  8. Heavy_Cavalry_Sgt says:

Liberty is what the nation was founded on. You can’t be liberal without embracing that concept. Other places with more restrictive rules some of these people would not have been seen as great.

  9. Bennite says:

I’m on the left, but I have to take issue with that. Louis XIV, Hobbes, Goethe and Dostoyevsky were all great men, but very right-wing.

And I certainly wouldn’t call Gandhi a liberal. Even the 14th Dalai Lama is a feudalistic conservative in many ways, despite some sympathies with Marxism.

  10. IceT says:

Really?! Lincoln, Eisenhower, Reagan, the founding fathers, General Patton, Colin Powell, Margret Thatcher, Martin Luther King, etc……

All you proved is that liberals like to rewrite history and portray it as a Marxist fantasy land.

  13. matthew says:

You also forgot Eisenhower MLK Reagan Lincoln Jefferson. Jesus taught so many conservative values it’s impossible to think he’s liberal. The founding fathers were “technically” liberal because there was not a republican party yet but most of them held conservative beliefs of a non oppresive government.
