I guess its in the human psychology to be susceptible to delusional believes such as religion and conspiracies but man… we live in 2013 and people are still soooo stupid. Its kind of depressing.
Yes, we live in 2013 and we still mainly function off of petroleum and fossil fuels. Even the sun operates off of hydrogen, yet the major oil companies continue raking in profit, taking advantage of people’s ignorant nature instead of guiding humanity with a more abundant and sustainable form of energy. No, why would they want to do that, all the oil companies would lose money and go out of business. It’s too bad a lot of Nikola Tesla’s inventions are classified by the government after his death. Why would Scientology let someone work on Cold Fusion or Free Energy?
Yes it’s the 21st Century and people are too ignorant to see that pharmaceutical companies may not actually care about our health. They provide all types of symptom suppressing medication, but have you ever heard of them actually treating the disease itself; heaven forbid they find a cure, all the companies that make Alieve, Advil, Tylenol, and NyQuil would go out of business. We can’t put people’s health above the profit of corporations.
It’s 2013 and people are too passive to object to Obama’s Banker Bail-Out. For those who have no concept or knowledge of the banking cartel, what Obama did was relieve the banks of their debts and throw it onto the American people, as if the banks haven’t taken enough advantage of the people as is. Let alone that the Federal Reserve has refused to be subjected to a public audit within the 99 years of its existence.
Oh, and while we’re on banks, might as well question human stupidity and ask for a point. If the problems of the economy are due to inflation, why do we continue to function off of a Fractional Reserve policy? They’re just creating more money for loans that takes away the value of the existing currency, while adding interest rates, where they demand people pay back more money than they loaned out. This is the equivalent of borrowing a shovel from your neighbor and having to give him the shovel back with 6% of another shovel. It doesn’t make sense, but people do it all the time.
It’s 2013 and it’s depressing that very few people make objections to the tampering of our food. It might be ok with you to eat Genetically Modified corn that produces its own pesticide or meat from cows that have been injected with so many hormones and steroids, which is what Monsanto does, but I wouldn’t want to.
What’s depressing is people can’t believe in an obvious conspiracy because the media tells them you’re stupid if you do. What is a conspiracy? It is a secret of a planned action between two or more people, that’s it. So by denying all conspiracy theories, you’re suggesting there are no corrupt individuals within our government that might not have the best interest of the American people in mind.
Why are people not allowed to conceive that the media could be lying to them? It wouldn’t be that difficult considering the Associated Press filters out certain stories through editing and censorship. Even though there are hundreds of media companies, people fail to recognize that dozens of companies are owned by even bigger companies. Do a little bit of research on your own, just look at all the companies owned by Disney, Time Warner and News Corporation:
